The Angel Foundation for Learning Hosts Appreciation Dinner and Commissions Angel Ambassadors

On March 27, 2008, approximately 50 Angel Foundation for Learning representatives from TCDSB schools gathered in the CEC Cafeteria for an Appreciation Dinner. The Foundation paid tribute to the Reps and thanked them for all of their hard work and support during the past year. Foundation President Art Witham and Executive Director, Sara Camilleri delivered a PowerPoint presentation which focused on the theme of Ambassadorship and Acts of Good Will. Concluding the presentation, Sara commissioned all of the Reps to “become Angel Ambassadors.”

The Foundation commissioned the newly appointed Angel Ambassadors to continue spreading the Foundation’s message in their schools and communities. Guests received welcome packages including Gift Sets provided by the Toronto Catholic School Board Employees’ Credit Union as well as information regarding upcoming fundraising events. The Foundation was thrilled to announce that CTV Sports Anchor, Lance Brown is the Grand Marshal and that he will lead all of the participants in the 5K FUN WALK.

Foundation reps enjoyed a delicious dinner and mingled with other attendees. Guests also participated in a draw and won some terrific prizes. Thanks to all the Angel Ambassadors who joined us!
