Our Story

The Angel Foundation for Learning’s mandate is to assist vulnerable students within the TCDSB school system. In the same way that guardian angels watch over and protect children, The Angel Foundation for Learning assists students’ body, mind and soul. The Foundation’s angel mascot “Buddy” works very hard to serve TCDSB students. Buddy teaches us that generosity and compassion can offer the best learning.

The goal of The Angel Foundation for Learning is to ensure that all Toronto Catholic District School Board students are equally able to participate in opportunities that sustain and enhance the educational process including: support for student nutrition programs, class trips, leadership activities, and funding for social work emergency needs, for instance: eyeglasses, hearing aids and other essentials for TCDSB students in need. The theme for the Angel Foundation for Learning 2009/2010 is “Believe in Angels.” Through this theme we wish to inspire everyone to join in the work of the Foundation and brighten the lives and futures of TCDSB students. Thanks to our angels, the Foundation is able to give every student an equal opportunity to thrive – to empower them, impact their lives and create life-changing transformations. There is no doubt that we Believe In Angels!
