Grade 10 Students Rock at the Bob Wilson Music Camp
Over 70 talented grade 10 students took part in the Bob Wilson Music Camp at Teen Ranch in November. This special learning experience is supported annually by The Angel Foundation for Learning. A four-day music retreat for aspiring musicians across secondary schools, the Bob Wilson Music Camp forges music with friendships.
The retreat ended with a concert in the Ice Corral Concert Hall. Musical renditions took audience members through a number of sounds including classical, Christmas Carols and an upbeat performance of funk entitled Chunk of Funk!
Students also participated in outdoor activities including horseback riding, and wilderness survival activities. Special thanks to Bernardine Nelligan, Graziano Brescacin, Rose Cutrara, Vicki Blechta, Lenny Graf, Bob Reeves, Davide Garofalo, Megan Hodge, Stan Perry and the many teacher supervisors.
