Evening to Feed the Soul Dinner Event 2009

Hundreds of attendees gathered to celebrate the Evening to Feed the Soul Dinner Event agreed that every year this event becomes more enjoyable and memorable.

The Angel Foundation for Learning aims to provide equal opportunities and a positive future for TCDSB students. Students are the cornerstone of the event and their talent was showcased as they entertained the guests at this gala dinner.

The artistic and stylized angels that were the centrepieces that adorned the tables were created by the students from St. Raphael Catholic School. Their theme as they ingeniously put the angels together was “Angels at Work”.

The Evening to Feed the Soul Dinner Event held annually raises funds for the student’s nutrition programs. During 2009 there has been a significant increase of nutrition programs. Currently 25,000 students benefit from a breakfast, lunch or snack.

The gala dinner guests commented on the delicious dinner, the attractive silent auction, the elegant art auction, and the touching speeches given by the students. They were well entertained by the singers, dancers and the outstanding string ensemble.
