Barry Diemert Music Bursary

The Angel Foundation for Learning is proud to announce that Alex Lucas Artale of Chaminade College was the 2009 recipient of the Barry Diemert Music Bursary.

Alex is an aficionado of percussion instruments demonstrating his passion by being a member of the Chaminade Concert Band as well as a member of the RCM percussion ensemble and a member of the percussion section of the York Symphony Orchestra. He excelled academically and has been the recipient of many awards and certificates of distinction.

Administered by The Angel Foundation for Learning, the Barry Diemert Music Bursary is presented annually to a successful graduate of the Toronto Catholic District School Board wishing to pursue music education at a university, college or other post-secondary music school.
