Angel Ambassadors Appreciation Dinner 2009

Over 50 people attended the Angel Ambassador Dinner event last October 8th, 2009. This event gathers The Angel Foundation for Learning Ambassadors to thank them for their continuous support through out the school year.

Angel Ambassadors are the Foundation messengers who spread our word, encourage fundraising activities and inform the schools and community about the work that The Angel Foundation for Learning does – transforming the lives of vulnerable TCDSB students.

The attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner, at the same time that they listened to Sara Camilleri, the Executive Director and Diana Riopel, the President of the Board of Directors speak about the ways in which students were supported last year. They also outlined the activities planned for the near future.

The evening ended with a commissioning exercise, followed by a raffle. Packages given to the attendees included a CD with the video showcasing the work of the Foundation and several user friendly tools that the Ambassadors were asked to share with their colleagues. The Angel Ambassadors were pleased to spend an enjoyable evening with friends and look forward to the ways that they can support the Foundation to make an impact in the lives of vulnerable students.
